Sayulita consists of five main streets, full of restaurants, shops, bars, music and some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Have fun exploring this colorful little town!

The main attraction of Sayulita isn’t hard to find: it’s the beach. Calm in the morning while the fishermen are out and more crowded in the afternoon when the sun warms it up, it’s the perfect place to relax.

There are great spots in Sayulita where the water is calm and perfect for stand up paddle boarding. Lunazul and Wildmex are two great companies to rent a board and explore the bay.

Hands down, our favorite Mex food in town for casual tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and ceviche. We very seriously thought about asking them to cater our wedding. That good.

Allie + Sandro ate here with their wedding planner and it was incredible. Healthy, organic salads + tacos with bold flavors and the freshest smoothies.

Paletas are ice pops made from fresh fruit, liquors and every other flavor imaginable. We may or may not have stopped here daily.

For a more private beach, head south to the Playa de Los Muertos, which literally means Beach of the Dead. The reason for the name? The beach happens to be right next to a colorful cemetery with flags, flowers and candles to remember loved ones.

Allie's favorite boutique filled with the coolest gifts, cow skulls, blankets and treasures. They even offer macrame and pom pom workshops!

Best Pastries in Sayulita. Perhaps the best chocolate brownie ever. The coffee beans are sourced from the neighboring state of Oaxaca. Definitely make this your coffee and breakfast stop.

Fresh, buttery, hot out of the oven Empanadas is amazing flavors. Inexpensive and as good as it gets, La Empanaderia is a tiny walk-up / take-out kind of spot.

Just a block from the beach you'll find a great indoor/outdoor restaurant with flavors from the Caribbean, Oaxaca, Puebla and Veracruz.

Take a break from the Sayulita sun and make beautiful things. Spend a serene 4 hours working on your own macrame design and see your creativity come to life in the beautiful, traditional macrame wall hanging. Wednesdays and Saturdays 11:00am - 3:00pm.

On Fridays, you’ll find the Farmers’ Market on the main street, north on the bridge. It’s open from 10am to 2pm. There’s plenty of vendors to buy souvenirs and colorful gifts from local artisans, craftsmen, and jewelers, but also some fruits and veggies, as well as organics products. More info here.
